Mandatory accounting registers

We prepare and keep up to date the mandatory registers — the Journal, the Inventory register and the General ledger — required by the accounting law.

The registers the law requires

The accounting law requires every company to keep three mandatory registers: the Journal (chronological recording), the Inventory register (inventoried assets and liabilities) and the General ledger (the status of each account). Their absence or incorrect keeping is penalised and creates problems at any audit.

What we do for you

  • Preparing the Journal;
  • Preparing the Inventory register based on the stocktake;
  • Generating the General ledger by accounts;
  • Numbering and keeping per the rules;
  • Archiving for the legal periods.

Why it matters

These registers are the official memory of accounting. At a tax audit they are among the first requested. We keep them correctly and completely.
